Festimad Open

Con esta primera edición de Festimad Open, el festival madrileño Festimad 2M, quiere presentar el talento local al mercado internacional. 

Festimad Open tendrá lugar el sábado, 25 de Abril de 2015, dentro del contexto de la 22 edición del Festimad 2M.
Festimad 2M es pionero y uno de los festivales más prestigiosos en España,especializado en descubrir talentos musicales. En su edición de 2015, entre el 22 de abril y el 9 de Mayo, presentará alrededor de 100 bandas en 30 salas y espacios de Madrid, esperando una audiencia de aproximadamente 20.000 espectadores y con una gran cobertura de prensa.
El showcase dentro de Festimad Open, que tendrá lugar el 25 de Abril, propone ante importantes programadores a una selección de 8 bandas madrileñas con el fin de que puedan presentarse en festivales y escenarios internacionales
Festimad Open forma parte de una serie de iniciativas de la Comunidad de Madrid para apoyar la internacionalización, la apertura de nuevos mercados y la regularización de la presencia de artistas y creadores locales en los circuitos, festivales y eventos internacionales. En este sentido, representantes de los más prestigiosos festivales e instituciones internacionales como Sziget, Les Eurockeennes, Convivencia o Globaltica, tendrán la oportunidad de conocer in situ la escena madrileña.
Integrado en Festimad 2M, Festimad Open cuenta con la campaña promocional de Festimad y del Festival del Dos de Mayo” de la Comunidad de Madrid. Colabora los medios Radio 3, Mondo Sonoro, 20 minutos, Sol Música entre otros.

La programación del showcase es una selección de 8 propuestas de diferentes estilos musicales, tanto consolidadas como emergentes, provenientes de la Comunidad de Madrid. La selección ha sido realizada en colaboración con Radio 3, la radio nacional pública en España y la más importante dentro del sector de la música contemporánea.

With this 1st edition of Festimad Open, the Madrilenian festival Festimad, in its edition of 2015, bet on introducing its musical talents abroad. 

Festimad Open will take placed in Madrid the 24th and 25th of April 2015, within the framework of the 22rd edition of Festimad 2M.
Festimad 2M, is a festival specialized in discovering musical talents, is pioneer and one of the most prestigious festivals in Spain. In its 2015 edition and between April 22nd and May 9th, it will present 100 bands in 30 venues of Madrid expecting more than 20,000 spectators and with great media coverage.
The session of Festimad Open, on April 25th consists in a showcase with 8 bands featuring some of the newest and more international artistic proposals from Madrid, in order to introduce them to Spanish and International programmers.
Festimad Open is part of the program promoted by the Government of the Region of Madrid for internationalization, the opening of new markets and standardization of the presence of artists and creators in the musical circuits, festivals and events abroad. In such way, guests, representatives from prestigious institutions and international festivals, will have the chance to know in situ the scene and the musical resources, understanding Madrid as center of cultural irradiation.

PROGRAM
The programming for the showcase is a selection of 8 proposals of different musical styles, both consolidated and emerging and coming from the Region of Madrid. The selection has been curated in collaboration with Radio 3, the Spanish Public Radio and the most important one in the contemporary music sector.

BROADCASTING
Integrated into Festimad 2M, Festimad Open counts with the publicity campaign of Festimad and the “Festival of May the 2nd” of the Region of Madrid. It also has the support of Radio 3, Mondo Sonoro, 20 minutes, Sol Musica among other important Media.
